I am to help my daughter with her new house she is having renovated.  At first we try to have the construction man who works with the house to work on the garage doors but then he gives her price she tell me is very much. So we go looking to find another company to get better estimate for this garage door. It is space of a double garage but only one large opening. Now we have problem with other company to find right size door with good opener for it. How will  you help me to get good price for this door and that work good? My friend tell me that you do estimate for me for no charge, if this is true you already are making life easier for me from these other company.

thank you,

Raja Chopra

As is standard among double garage doors (16×7) you will most likely need a 3/4 HP opener installed to assure the proper strength for that size door. One does not usually get anything stronger than a 3/4 HP door for a residential home; only when you get into commercial doors does the HP rise at 1-2 HP.
