Surprisingly great and quick service.

I was unable to open my garage door because it kept coming off track. I searched for a company that could provide immediate service and luckily found BBB Garage Doors, LLC.

When I called, a customer service rep took down my information and a few minutes later I received a call from a technician, Nathan, who said he could be on his way immediately.

Nathan resolved the issue to my satisfaction in what seemed like just a few minutes. A couple of days later my garage door wouldn’t work.

When I called Nathan, he agreed to come right out to resolve the issue. Although I was frustrated about my door, Nathan’s professionalism and commitment to ensure that not only was I satisfied but also that my garage door worked properly was reassuring.

I was checking out the deals on cyber Monday and came across a coupon thru living social for a  garage door tune-up and inspection by your company.

I knew our garage door needed some servicing since it sounded like a haunted house each time it opened and closed and except for a little wd-40 nothing had been done to it since the house was built  seven years ago.  Knowing nothing about your company, but realizing we  were operating on borrowed time before something would break on that garage door, i stepped out on faith and gave you guys a call.

I am so glad i did!  Rachel, is exceptional; exhibiting the highest level of customer service. She was able to contact the technician because he was in our area  and schedule a service call to our home the same day.  My husband could not say enough good things about gidon, the  service tech. He was prompt, courteous, professional, and very thorough.

Our garage door is so quiet now that you have to look at it  to know that its moving.  It literally seems to operate better than when it was installed.  Finding BBB garage doors tops any deal I could have  gotten on cyber Monday.

I would strongly recommend BBB Garage Doors for all your garage door repair needs. These guys are great.  I give them 5 stars.   They installed a new garage door for me in October 2014 and it works great.  I called them a few days ago to report that my garage door was making some noise and  Amro promptly came over and greased and did whatever he had to and now it is working great.

I was really surprised about the technician which demonstrated an impressive level of expertise and fixed my torsion spring in less the 15 minutes.

I want to send you a Thank you! For the Excellent response time and customer service you provided. I found your service through an internet search for ‘garage door repair’ for my local area-Rockville. I had contacted 3 other services to see if they could come the same day- which was a weekend- to repair my garage door. One service left me on hold for about 10mins, another said they couldn’t come out for 5 days, and another wanted to charge a $200 service visit fee for the same day service—all were impersonal with 1-800 answering services.

I contacted your customer service representative using the 301-309-9100 and spoke to Rachel. She was very kind and understanding to my urgent need for garage repair and security concern since I would be going out of town the following week. She quickly started coordinating while I was on the phone to get a technician in the office to accommodate another service call– and they said YES! They immediately –within 30mins—sent over Gidon the Technician. Rachel treated me as their most important customer and that my needs were important to her.

Gidon was friendly, informative and diligent. He was very courteous and friendly and went straight to work and went above and beyond by moving items in my garage in order to get to the springs that snapped due to age and my neglect of maintenance. He explained what I needed to do to continue to maintain my garage door, explained what products to use for maintenance, and why my springs had broken. I explained to Gidon on my thoughts on closing in my garage to make for additional living space and he took the time to really listen. He also provided some sound consulting on future options for upgrading my door opener without any over selling. He was honest and let me know that my door and door opener were in good shape and secure. I sometimes feel that technicians come out and try to over sell their products and services and try to take advantage of the situation—but Gidon did not try any salesman antics.—Instead he was very polite, well mannered, honest, informative and left me with the impression that he really understood and enjoyed his work and was personally committed to the quality service and products BBB has to offer. I felt confident that I could trust his advice given that he was so knowledgeable about garage door products, understanding of the investment homeowners make in garage door home security and safety, and the importance of regular maintenance.

They were next door delivering a quote and I asked him to stop in when he was done. Gave us a great price, perfect service and exactly what we needed. No BS. Eli was exceptional and he solved our problems in very short order. Would highly recommend BBB and Eli to anyone with garage door issues or replacement needs!

I have to give Kudos to my BBB Tech., P. Sergey. I was given an appointment, 8:00 – 10:00 window. Sergey telephoned to inform me that he would be here in 30 minutes. Traffic must have been terrific because he arrived 23 minutes later. It did not take him but a few minutes to figure out the problem and my garage door was repaired in about 15 minutes.

He also showed me where one of the chains on the garage door was hanging and advised me that eventually, my opener would have to be replaced as well as the chain drive. I asked him how long would it take for them to order and replace the opener. Sergey informed me that he had some in his truck and would be able to replace it right away if I wanted him to do so.

He gave me the quote for parts and installation (which I felt was a fair price) and I asked him would he be able to complete everything no later than 10:1530 AM (because I had another appointment scheduled and would have to leave). Well, again, Sergey stepped up to the plate. He met the deadline with “flying” colors. Upon completion, he gave me a thorough overview as to how to work everything. Prior to leaving, he cleaned up all debris. To net it out, I could not have asked for a better job, professionalism, and expertise.

I was/am thoroughly satisfied with Sergey and will continue to contact BBB Garage Doors in the future. I will also highly recommend this company to anyone needing garage door service. THANK YOU SERGEY FOR AN EXCELLENT JOB WELL DONE!

My garage door spring broke early afternoon on Sunday and we couldn’t open the door. I called an 800 number and was able to confirm an appointment around 5 pm the same day.

The technical (Remond) actually arrived early, then quickly assessed the problem, had the correct spring on his truck, installed the part, checked, and lubricated the door rails and opener which now operates better than when we originally had it installed 7 years ago.

The technician was very courteous and professional throughout the time he was on-site and had the job completed quickly. Ironically, I am happy the spring broke because after Remond serviced my garage door, it runs smoother and quieter than before! I highly recommend this company!

What can I add that hasn’t been said about these guys. My garage door had a broken torsion spring. I feared it would be costly but had no choice but to call a garage door company.

After searching around and reading some reviews I found BBB garage door which arrived fast, gave me a free estimate which To my surprise included a reasonable price. They did fast job, checking and double checking that everything works and left everything clean and organized.

FANTASTIC! I can’t say enough about how professional and outstanding the work was, and how HAPPY I am now with my garage door. It’s better than it EVER was now! These guys are absolutely the BEST!!!

So, in a moment of extreme fatigue and poor judgment, I hit the button and crunched my garage door on the front bumper of my car as I thought I was far in enough but wasn’t. I explored options of repairing it myself but my wife, the smart one in this marriage, started looking for experts to effect the repair for us. Do you think that meant she knew I couldn’t do it? Or did she do so because she knew I did not WANT to do it?

No matter; after looking at reviews for a few repair shops, we decided to give BBB a try. It was late that night when we left our contact information on the website for a quote. I received a call the following morning from Nathan who said he could be by the house in a half-hour as he was in the area at another worksite.

True to his word, he arrived 30 minutes later, introduced himself and started having a look around and explained what needed to be done. I was looking at replacing the entire door, not realizing that it could (and should) be done in sections. He quoted me a price, which now I think is kind of high for just the one section, but the labor was very manageable and he was an congenial sort- I liked him on sight and nothing has happened subsequent to the initial meeting to change that outlook.

Nathan is just s real nice guy, and super knowledgeable- he answered every question confidently, and more importantly, competently; explained what needed to be done, that it would take about two weeks to get the replacement, which would be an upgrade since my door type was no longer made, and that it would be a perfect fit. As I had to manually operate the door (who would have thought such a small thing could make such a difference…I think I’m a bit spoiled now by all of the conveniences we enjoy and take for granted that weren’t around- at least not when I was a kid) it never totally slipped my mind that it was going to be fixed, unlike other things of lesser impact.

With that said, I got a text, just about two weeks later from Nathan, telling me he had the part and would like to call and schedule a day for the repair. As it turned out, we were able to reconvene just the following day and maybe an hour after he arrived the repair was completed. If it had been left like that, I would’ve given a 3-star A-OK review, however, Nathan noticed that the rollers were incorrectly installed (they were upside down and on the wrong side of the panel- both doors) and he took the time to take them off and re-install them as they should have done by the original builders- for BOTH doors, not just the one he repaired.

Didn’t charge me a thing, either. That surprised me; a lot of contractors that I’ve dealt with in the past have offered ancillary services, for a ‘small’ cash fee, separate and apart from the invoice. These days, ‘customer service’ is a byword but I do not think that all merchants understand what that means; Nathan clearly did as he did everything he was supposed to AND more; that sort of service deserves recognition so here’s my thank you to Nathan. Because of him, I’m leaving 5-stars- because I’m thankful that it was he who answered that call and made the repair, working around my schedule and being open and honest about what needed to be done, no attempts at fleecing or to make a little extra on the side. A class act. Should I have a need for this sort of work (or if anyone I know does) BBB is who I’ll be calling and referring them to.

I recently found BBB Garage Doors after reading all the great reviews. I made a Saturday appointment and Mark (Field Manager) happen to have a opening on Friday while in my residential area. He assessed the problem with our garage door in minutes, provided a solution and got right to work. Mark provided efficient and quality service. Because of him, I will recommend BBB Garage Doors to everyone I know!

BBB Garage Doors provided amazing same day service (within 3.5 hours of my initial call) when my garage door wouldn’t close. The Service Technician (Yoni) was prompt, professional and courteous. He arrived on schedule, fixed the door quickly and made recommendations to keep the problem from recurring! Great service provided fast and at a reasonable price; what a wonderful surprise!

Don’t even bother calling anyone else. These guys are the best.

Not only do they do a good job, but they also are reasonably priced and offer quick service. we had an old opener that had stopped working and needed replacing. They answered the phone on Sunday and came out and installed a new unit first thing Monday. Most other companies needed days just to come out and take a look.

Raymond showed up when he said he would and did an excellent job. He did not try to sell me on things that we did not need. If everyone worked like these guys it would make keeping a home repaired much easier.

Raymond, from BBB Garage Doors came out this morning to look at why my garage door was not closing. It turned out to be a simple thing. He quickly fixed that, then went on to lubricate the track and hinges, and staple up some hanging wires. He was incredibly nice, taught me how to fix things myself next time, and did it all for FREE! He was so polite and nice – I can’t say enough about the great customer service and would use them again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic service!! So I have a problem with my garage door yesterday–It would not open. I got inside the garage and pulled the door-disengage cord–no disengage, can’t manually open the door. I had just put a brand new motor in a couple of months ago and used BBB Garage Doors–Eli was the service tech who did the install–he remains awesome–read on to find out why. I call BBB and explain the problem.

The owner, is on the other end. He asks if we could Facetime and to hold the phone up so he could see the door–an excellent, time-saving idea. I give him a look-see through Facetime and diagnoses the problem right away–the springs that run across the top of my door had broken. This was a problem totally separate from the work they did on the motor install. It was just old age as that part of the door is over 20 years old. So he says that he’s going to call me back in five minutes to tell me when a tech could swing over.

Now how many times have we heard that? “Call you back in five” and that turns out to be the next day. Well, I haven’t even walked back into my house and BOOM! The phone rings THREE MINUTES later and BBB has a tech heading my way in two hours! I get a phone call and it’s Eli and he’s thirty minutes out. He rolls up in his mask and protective gear, I knew at that point my life is going to get a whole lot easier.

Eli takes one look at the springs, examines the door for any other issues, heads to his truck for parts, and about an hour later the door is sporting new springs and working perfectly–and at a great, very fair price.
